Background
The Jaguar XJS has long been the firm favourite for drivers who demand luxury and the understated refinement of the fabled Jaguar V12. When it launched in 1975, the all new XJS had big shoes to fill as it followed on from the ground breaking E-Type. Jaguar’s new sports car may have initially gotten off to a shaky start but by the early 1980s, the XJS had quickly established itself as the luxury sports tourer of choice. Many discerning customers opted for the convertible over the coupe, with some ticking the V12 engine option on the order form. The car on sale with The Market is a 1993 Jaguar XJS V12 convertible which has had just two ones from new and has covered just 63,000 miles in 29 years.
