Background
The Aston Martin DB7 is a grand tourer that was built by Aston Martin from 1994 to 2004. The car could be either coupe or convertible and could have either a six- or twelve-cylinder engine.
The car initially was only sold with a straight-six as the DB7, but in 1999 the V12 was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show.
The V12 Vantage was so popular that Aston Martin ceased production of the straight-six DB7 before the year was over.
