Background
The Harley-Davidson Rocker and Rocker C (the latter had a hidden, deployable pillion seat and loads more chromed and shiny bits), was Harley’s factory-built answer to all the custom bike builders (Orange County Choppers and the like) who’d been chopping, dropping and otherwise tweaking their bikes since the birth of time.
Powered by a 1584cc V-Twin engine delivering 86 lb-ft of torque through a 6-speed ‘box, the Rocker brought Harley’s factory build quality, reliability and road manners to buyers who lusted after something with a bit more of a street vibe.
